  • AMi Launches New Online Courses

    North Richland Hills, Texas, January 26, 2017 ­— The Automotive Management Institute (AMi), the industry’s leading nonprofit provider and collaborator of administration and management education for automotive collision and mechanical service repair professionals, announced the addition of several new online courses for the collision repair segment.  These newly released courses provide credit toward the organization’s Collsion Repair Segment certificates and professional designations.  These include the following: Customer Service Certificate Accredited Automotive Office Manager (AAOM) professional designation   Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) professional designation Accredited Master Automotive Manager (AMAM)  professional designation Soon to be released Accredited Collison-Repair Estimator (ACE) and Accredited Master Collision-Repair Estimator (AMCE) professional designations. The new online courses include: Frank Terlep’s How to Market, Sell and Service Today’s “Connected Customer” Daren Fristoe’s Effective Interviewing Techniques  Daren’s Fristoe’s Managing Conflict Steve Beck’s Time Management These courses become part of a growing list of over 100 online courses hosted by the Automotive Management Institute’s “MyAMi” Learning Management System.   • Discover Leadership Training Approved for AMi Credit

    North Richland Hills, Texas, January 9, 2017 ­— The Automotive Management Institute (AMi), the industry’s leading nonprofit provider and collaborator of front office and management education for automotive collision and mechanical service repair professionals, announced the approval of the Discover Leadership Master Graduate Program and Ignition Program for elective credit hours.  Past and future students successfully completing the Master Graduate Program will be awarded 60 AMi elective credits hours and the Ignition Leadership Program 24 credit hours toward the achievement of AMi’s Accredited Automotive Office Manager (AAOM), Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) and Accredited Master Automotive Manager (AMAM) professional designations. “We are proud to add the Discover Leadership Master Graduate and Ignition Leadership Programs to our growing list of AMi approved programs.  Its unique approach to leadership training provides a solid foundation for both personal and professional success”, said AMi President, Jeff Peevy.     Mike Anderson, owner of Collision Advice says of the Master Graduate experience, “You often hear of things that change a person’s life, getting married, having kids, and so on.     Industry Training Provider Directory Continues Growth  Industry Embraces AMi Learning Support Tools North Richland Hills, Texas, October 27, 2016 - The Automotive Management Institute (AMi), the industry's leading nonprofit provider and collaborator of front office and management education for automotive collision and mechanical service repair professionals, reported its industry-wide Training Provider Directory has been embraced by the industry.  Since the June 20th launch of the "Next Generation of AMi", the searchable directory has experienced tremendous support and activity from those searching for training resources and training providers ensuring their programs' industry exposure. The Training Provider Directory provides a searchable database of management and technical training for both collision repair and mechanical service repair segments.  The directory currently has over 120 training providers participating and AMi is encouraging others to join.  Training Providers and Instructors are encouraged to participate by completing the "Training Provider Form" at  www.amionline.org.
