Whether developing your staff or your personal, professional credentials, AMi’s industry-recognized programs provide the learning and knowledge to remain competitive and relevant.
How to get Started
To start your AMI professional journey:
- Go to amionline.org
- Click on “My AMi Learning Management System” in the center of the web page, just beneath the navigation panel, then either log in with your existing credentials or press the "Register" button to setup a new "Profile".
- Set up your profile. Be sure to choose a selection at the very bottom of the Profile page where you will find the "AMi Certified Designations & Certifications" drop down menu.
- You then select the Designation(s) you would like to purchase & pursue, or if you are looking for the 2 Alfa Romeo Courses, you select the (ARCN) Alfa Romeo Certified Network option. Lastly you MUST press save!
- Then, to access the courses, simply press the Learning Paths navigational button (open book looking icon) and begin with the top left course and work your way down until there are no courses left incomplete on the entire page. Once you are finished, you need to then contact us at [email protected] and we will open the next learning path in line for you, as well as record your progress.

This designation recognizes those professionals that have not only achieved the AMi Collision Repair Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation, but have continued their studies to include an additional 60-credit hours for a total of 180-credit hours. Those holding this professional designation have extensive training and education in managing and leading a successful collision repair operation. This 60-credit hour professional designation requires the successful completion of the Accredited Consultant of Excellence (ACE/80 Credits) and the Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM/40 Credits) plus an additional 60 AMi Certified Credit Hours.

Collision Repair Estimators interact with customers, insurance staff, internal shop and office staff and more. The position requires sound people and office skills, the ability to be precise and detailed, possess an understanding of vehicle technology and knowledge of estimating and information software. Estimators play an important role in shop profitability and efficiency. The AMCE professional designation represents key knowledge areas of professional knowledge and skills (non-technical), technical damage analysis, and information and estimating systems. The AMCE designation requires training, testing and verification from AMi, ASE, & I-CAR® as well as testing in Information/Estimating System Providers.
