Automotive Management Institute Recognizes 2016 Industry Partners
Posted on: 08, September, 2016NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, August 30, 2016 — The Automotive Management Institute (AMi), the industry’s leading provider of management education for automotive collision and mechanical service repair professionals, held its annual “Celebration of Excellence” awards ceremony Aug. 12 at the Sheraton Park Hotel in Anaheim, Calif.
The Institute created three new awards to express its appreciation for its industry partner’s support over the past year. Two individuals and one organization were selected to receive the new awards in recognition for their support of the Automotive Management Institute’s “Next Generation” initiative:
• The AMi Collision Training Provider of the Year - Mike Anderson, AMAM, CollisionAdvice, was recognized as the top collision repair segment training professional to embrace the “Next Generation of AMi”, vision and core belief.
• The AMi Mechanical Training Provider of the Year - Jeremy O’Neal, AMAM, AdvisorFix, was recognized as the top service repair segment training professional to embrace the “Next Generation of AMi”, vision and core belief.
• The AMi Industry Partner of the Year - the award was presented to Kukui and accepted by Todd Westerlund, CEO, in recognition for its efforts in building the new AMI website, which supports its new learning management platform.
“AMi’s successful launch of our ‘Next Generation’ is due to the commitment and dedication of Mike, Jeremy and the Kukui team. Their commitment to the future of our industry is evident in the countless hours and resources they have contributed to AMi,” said AMi Chairman, Sheri Hamilton.
