Automotive Management Institute Honors Class of 2017 at NACE Automechanika
Posted on: 22, August, 2017NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, August 22, 2017 - The Automotive Management Institute (AMi), the industry's leading provider of management education for automotive service and collision repair professionals, held its graduation ceremony July 27 at the McCormick Place West Convention Center in Chicago.
During this year's second graduation ceremony held in conjunction with NACE Automechanika, AMi recognized seven Customer Service Representatives, one Accredited Master Collision-Repair Estimator, six Accredited Automotive Managers and 20 Accredited Master Automotive Managers.
"It was honor to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of this group of industry professionals during our graduation ceremony. This ceremony was the second graduating class for 2017. We are excited to see the growth of AMi reflected in the number of graduates and the diversity of certificates and professional designations being awarded," said AMi President, Jeff Peevy.
AMi recognized its first graduating class of Customer Service Representatives (CSR). The six students receiving certificates completed required courses and accumulated a minimum of 60 credits.
This year's event also recognized its first graduating class of Accredited Master Collison-Repair Estimators (AMCE). The designation requires students complete multiple categories of training and professional achievement, including business related and soft-skills, technical damage analysis and information provider knowledge. The ceremony honored the 24th class of Accredited Automotive Managers (AAMs). The second graduating class of 2017 includes six automotive service and collision repair professionals who earned the Institute's prestigious AAM designation by successfully completing AMi courses and accumulating a minimum of 120 credits.
The AMi graduation honored 20 students of its third graduating class of Accredited Master Automotive Manager (AMAM) designation by successfully completing AMi courses and accumulating a minimum of 180 credits. The Automotive Management Institute collaborates with training providers across the industry aligning training courses into comprehensive educational curricula, that when completed, results in professional designations and certificates. The education represented by these programs have proven to make positive impacts on business KPI scores and overall profitability. AMI courses concentrate on seven core areas of business management education: financial management, sales & marketing, operational management, HR and personnel development, IT management, risk management and leadership.
