Jeff Peevy, AMAM Learning is the only source of a sustainable competitive advantage. This is an important element in the AMi core belief. It is at the very heart of everything we do. As each day passes, what we know is less important than what we are learning. There is a direct connection between living and learning and as we lose interest in learning, aging accelerates. So with this in mind, please take a moment a read section three, especially if you hold an AMi Professional Designation

Jeff Peevy, AMAM In the demands of our day-to-day business, we often fail to step back and determine how our business is really doing. Especially in a small business where everyone "wears many hats," we get caught in the trap of measuring success and growth by how busy we are and by the bank account. This is why working on the discipline of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) is important.A "KPI" is simply a quantifiable measurement used to determine how well it meets an operational goal. KPI's do not have to be complicated, but consistent and be measuring things that are important to your operational success. AMi can help you, and your staff better understand KPI's and how to benefit from their use

    Wednesday 07 February 2018

Jeff Peevy, AMAM If you are reading this, you are likely an employee or owner of a small business, because our industry is an industry of small businesses.  We often think of ourselves as "victims" by being a majority of small businesses. The truth is, we are not so unique, as most industries in our nation are made up of small businesses.  According to the Small Business and Enterprise Council, 89.6% of U.S. businesses have less than 20 employees.  Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and with few exceptions are faced with growing liability issues, the momentum of technology changes and employee turnover.  Sound familiar?  Take heart, since there are nearly 26 million businesses in the U.S. like yours, you are not alone, and there's a lot of resources and support to help you be successful.  We intend to be one of them
