amigrads2The continuing education provided by the Institute helps automotive service and collision repair professionals improve their business management skills. In addition to providing information, the Institute offers the first business management accreditation specifically for the owner/manager, the Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation.

The AAM recognizes industry professionals who have successfully completed course work and earned a minimum of 120 credits.

Over the years, 1,646 individuals have earned the prestigious AAM designation, with approximately 100 new graduates each year. In addition, two honorary AAM designations have been presented to G.W. "Bud" Merwin and Richard J. Cossette for outstanding support and dedication to the Institute and education in the automotive industry. The AAM designation has become a cornerstone in professionalizing automotive service management.

The prestigious designation is a symbol of professional achievement that will continue to shape the future of the automotive service industry.
